MinistriesRhythm of Praise
Once a month, our Youth Praise Band leads the worship service at First Baptist Church. This group brings together talented teenage members of our church to enhance God’s word through joyful music.
Adult Praise Team
This dedicated group leads contemporary worship during Sunday morning service once a month. This service showcases musical talent such as a keyboardist, guitarists and vocalists.
Loaves and Fishes
Our Loaves and Fishes ministry delivers food to our neighbors in Atchison to help them meet their nutrition needs. They join forces with other churches in town to help as many people as possible.
God’s Kids
Our ministry for elementary-aged children runs through the school year. We meet Tuesday afternoons for a 90-minute program involving Bible lessons, games, food and fun! Transportation is provided for the children to pick them up from school and take them to FBC for the program.
Bible Studies
First Baptist Church of Atchison offers two weekly Bible study groups. Ladies meet Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m., and a mixed adult Bible study group (SALT) meets Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m.
Youth Ministry
This ministry for middle school and high school kids meets every Sunday after service – and church members provide lunch! Members go on field trips throughout the year as they form important bonds and strengthen their faith.
